From Carpenter to Affiliate Marketer: My Unconventional Journey

I’ve spent nearly three decades honing my skills as a carpenter, but life had different plans for me. Back problems and two surgeries later, I found myself at a crossroads. I could no longer engage in the work I knew and loved. There was a profound satisfaction in crafting something with my own hands and standing back to say, “I did that.” I needed to find a new passion that could offer me the same level of fulfillment.

With little knowledge of how to navigate the digital world, I embarked on a journey to explore opportunities on the internet while I was on the road to recovery. During this time, I had forged meaningful connections with others facing similar challenges. Having held managerial positions as a carpenter for many years, I naturally found myself guiding and teaching my fellow co-workers. This was something I enjoyed immensely.

One day, while chatting with a friend on my Facebook page, the idea of becoming an affiliate marketer and sharing my wisdom with others was suggested. I had never heard of affiliate marketing before, but I decided to investigate. They provided over-the-shoulder training and had a supportive community that never gave up on you, no matter the challenges you faced. I completed my training and began using their teaching methods to not only indulge in what I enjoyed but also derive immense satisfaction from teaching others about affiliate marketing. Additionally, I found myself sharing my knowledge of woodworking, from the basics of using tools to starting your own woodworking business, whether from home or online.
